Happy Friday Warriors!

Picture retakes will be on Monday morning. If you have not been issued an LHS ID card this will be the time to get one. If you would like your picture proofs from registration please come by the office and request them.

Hey Ladies! Want to play on your class’s powder puff football team during Homecoming Week? Powder Puff football signups are posted on the wall outside of room 109.

Any boys and girls interested in being on the golf team go to the informational meeting in room 205 today. There will be a first lunch meeting as well as a second lunch meeting. Again, boys and girls golf team meetings on Friday during both lunches in room 205.

Would you like to visit places that you’ve read about, heard about, or seen on TV? Then the international travel program might be for you! Check it out at the meeting on Thursday the 19th at 5:30 in the LHS Library! This will be your last chance to attend an informational meeting about the upcoming 2020 Educational European Tour to Spain and France. If you have questions see Mrs. Chambers room 307.

Seniors: This week in your language arts classes you will be signing up for the SAT which occurs at LHS on October 16th. If you do not have a language arts class at LHS, please stop by and see Mrs. Eilers this week to get signed up. Available extra seats are limited.

Seniors: The first College Knowledge Night of the year is next week on Tuesday, September 17th at 6pm! Bring your parents and learn about the FAFSA and Oregon Promise. Everyone should apply for both of these things so come down and see why and how!

Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors: Do you know what career path you’ll choose after high school? If not go to the College and Career Center on Tuesday, September 17th during 3rd period and learn about the ASVAB which is a career aptitude test. This is a military run test that helps you determine what career path you should go in based on your answers. The test results are not released to the military unless you want them to be. This is a great test for anyone who is unsure of the road they want to take after high school!

Are you an equestrian and like to compete? There will be an informational meeting for anyone interested in finding out about the Lebanon chapter of the Oregon High School Equestrian Team also known as OHSET. The meeting will be on Monday, September 23rd at 6:30 p.m. the Pizza Hut banquet room.

Cascades, Green Acres & Pioneer Schools are looking for sophomores, juniors and seniors to serve as cabin leaders at Outdoor School this fall! This will be a 5-day program that offers 90 hours of community service credits for participation. Applications are available in the office. Completed applications can be turned in to the office and the deadline is today.

If you’re going to tonight’s football game at Dallas it will be a Red Out!

If you’re interested in the Disneyland Leadership 2019 trip grab a yellow application from the wall outside of room 109! Applications are due on Friday to room 109.

Are you looking for a fun, safe, place to hang out after school? You can go to The Vault at 177 Kees Street. The Vault is for teens only and is sponsored by the Boys and Girls Club. They offer homework help, snacks, and other helpful services. If you would like more information or an application stop by the main office and look on the shelves.

Do you like to play chess or would you like to learn to play chess and hang out with fun people? Go to room 409 next Thursday the 19th right after school and check it out!
