Good Morning Warriors!
Congratulations to the LHS Explosion Dance Team for bringing home a 2nd in State trophy! Way to go Warriors we are proud of you!
Congratulations to The Scalawags, robotics Team 1359, who reached the semifinals at the Oregon City district competition this weekend! Blending good sportsmanship with fierce competition earned them the Gracious Professionalism award…a coveted award and the first time the team has received it. Congratulations to the Safety Captain Ben Tabor for both individual and team safety awards! Way to go Warriors!
LHS submitted artwork for state wide competition to the Scholastic Art Awards. 14 students overall placed, with 6 students earning a GOLD KEY award! Earning a GOLD KEY means that the students artwork is recognized as one of the best art entries in the state of Oregon!
We also had 2 earn a Silver key and 6 honorable mentions! The Awards ceremony for the Gold Key winners was held Saturday at Oregon State University. Congratulations to the following LHS artists:

Congratulations to the LHS OBOB team who took 1st place in regionals beating out 14 other teams from the Willamette Valley /Coastal region.

Photography Club will be hosting a get together today after school in room 210 and everyone’s invited! There will be food, a place to take photos, and lessons on how to use a camera! They look forward to seeing you!
International Club meets this Thursday to continue thier exploration of Thailand and all it has to offer, so go by room 307 during second lunch and check it out!
Attn Seniors: Thursday, March 21 is Community College Application Day! During 3rd, 4th, 6th and 7th period, Community College representatives from Linn Benton and Chemeketa Community Colleges will be available to help you apply to college. Please sign up for an appointment, using the form on the LHS website. Sign-ups will also be available during Advisory on March 20.
Seniors: It is scholarship season! There are many scholarships due soon! There are 9 scholarships due this week! Today the Uschmann scholarship is due…every senior should apply for this scholarship! On Wednesday, the Lebanon Schools foundation scholarships, the LUHS Class of 1968 scholarship, and the Carter’s Fire Sprinkler scholarships are all due. The East Linn Masonic Lodge scholarship is due Thursday, along with the Lebanon Police Department scholarship for those wanting to study criminal justice. There are also 2 scholarships that are for those going into the trades! Stop by and see Mrs. Eilers today to get your applications! Don’t miss out on the chance for free money for college or trade school! There is at least 5 scholarships available for everyone to apply to!
The boys basketball banquet will be tonight at 6:00 in the commons.
Attention Seniors: Your plan and profile and extended applications need to be turned into the registrar by this Friday, the 22nd. This is a graduation requirement and you can turn them into the registrar directly.
