Good Morning Warriors!
Congratulations to the Warrior Softball team who will have their first round of state playoffs games on Wednesday at Hillsboro High School at 5:00.
Track and field will compete at State on Friday and Saturday at Mt. Hood Community College. Congratulations to the following state track competitors: Isabella Ayala who will compete in the 1500 and 3000, Danyel Davis who will compete in the 100m high hurdles, and Morgan Hopkins who will compete in discus and who was a district champion in shot put.
Just a reminder that if you received an invitation for the awards night tonight please be there and bring your parents. The awards start at 6:30. If you have questions please see Wendy Eilers in the College and Career Center.
Mr. LHS is tomorrow so get your tickets now before they’re gone! Tickets are available from any contestant or coordinator, or the finance window. Mr. LHS 2019 is on Tuesday, May 21 at 6:30PM in the Auditorium and is a fund raiser for the Children’s Miracle Network.
If you’re looking for a summer job Springbank Blueberry Farm is looking for energetic berry pickers for the summer. If you’re interested look for a flyer around the school or come by the main office.
Hey seniors! There will be senior class parents here on May 23rd and 24th set up in the commons along the blue wall for you to sign up and buy your tickets for the senior all night drug and alcohol free party that happens on the night of graduation. Tickets are $10 if you buy them ahead of time or they will be $20 at the door. If you have any questions or concerns with buying tickets please come talk to me, Koreen Brooks, in the office or Mrs. Golub in counseling because the senior parents want all seniors to be able to attend. Graduation night might be the last time you see some of your classmates, it’s going to be a great time, and everyone is guaranteed to take home prizes.
Would you like to get some fun easy volunteer hours? On July 18th The Eugene Science Center will be bringing in space related activities for kids to do through a summer program and they are looking for 10 dependable high school students to help run the activity tables. If you’re interested please come to the main office. Another volunteer opportunity is to help the city of Sodaville install playground equipment this weekend. They will be working on it from 8-4 both days at Soda Springs Community Park and any help is appreciated.
Juniors, bring your parents to the Class of 2020 College Night on May 22 at 6:45 in the Little Theater. Mrs. Rist will be there to tell you all about applying for college and getting financial aid after high school!
It’s ASB Class Senator Election time! Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors interested in representing their class as a Class Senator for the 2019-2020 school year may pick up an application now at the main office or from Room 109. Class Senator applications are due on Thursday, May 23. Get involved and represent your class!
Sophomores! Every year, the Lebanon Rotary Club sponsors students to represent the high school at their weekly lunch meetings. This is an amazing opportunity to promote our school activities and celebrate our achievements while learning more about the ways our local Rotary club is serving the community. Jr Rotarians are also eligible to apply for a $1000 college scholarship during their senior year. Applications for the 2019-2020 school year are due Friday, May 31st. Donate a dollar toward the clean water project in Uganda that senior AVID students have taken on as a project. If you donate a dollar you’ll be put in prize drawing! Make your donation in the college and career center.
Would you like to get to throw a water balloon at a staff member? You can buy a ticket to get to throw a water balloon during the combined lunch on May 30th. You can purchase a ticket in room 121.
