Hey juniors would you like to win an all-expense paid trip to tour Washington D.C.? Ask your parents if you get your electricity through Consumers Power Inc.; if so you can apply for the trip! LHS students have won the trip three of the last three years and have said it was an amazing experience. There are around 20 Oregon students that will go and there are 1800 other kids doing the same tour from around the country. You’ll meet awesome people and trade state pins! While in Washington D.C., you’ll get to do some fun historic tours, spend time with some of Oregon’s legislators that represent us in D.C., and even have time for a dance that in years past was held on a boat cruising up the Potomac River. LHS senior Kate Underwood was last year’s winner and she will be giving an informational presentation about the trip on Wednesday November 20th during 6th period in the College and Career Center. Come hear about an amazing trip that could change your life!
Have a great day Warriors!
