Good morning Warriors!!

  • Class of 2025 and 2026, this summer, July 24-26, camp out overnight at Willamette University and visit nearby colleges! This is a free event! All meals, housing, and transportation to other colleges included! This event is for anyone, even if you know nothing about college or not sure if you want to go to college. You will sample college classes, attend scholarship workshops, learn how to choose a major, and so much more. Register for this event on the College and Career Center door, deadline is May 20th. See or email Jaramie for more information.
  • Seniors - All library materials are due by May 20th.

  • Seniors: There are a lot of scholarships available in the College and Career Center. Make sure you check them out! Don’t be late! The due date and time are listed on each application and late applications will not be accepted! A few are due this week. This is your chance to earn free money for college or trade school.

  • There will be a quick Freshmen Orientation Leader meeting on Thursday, May 23rd in the Auditorium at the beginning of lunch. If you are interested and have not signed up come join us. If you signed up, come join us and bring a friend who is ready to create the culture for the incoming 9th graders.

  • Students between the ages of 14 to 18, are you interested in finding a job?  There is an opportunity through Linn County to apply for jobs that you don't need work experience for!  There is information on the College and Career Center Help Wanted Board.  For more information, please see Ms. Destowet in Counseling.

  • Come check out the new books in the library! They are on display in the back of the library.

  • In case you missed it, Educational European Tours is having another meeting  for our 2026 trip to France and Spain. Mark your calendars for Tuesday, May 21. We will be discussing the trip and all the activities and places we will be visiting as well as fundraising opportunities. Again, the meeting for this fabulous trip to Europe will be in Chambers room - #205 -  @ 5:00 Tuesday, May 21st.  Remember there is no language requirement and this trip is open to everyone who will be sixteen or older by the departure date. 

  • Chromebook checkouts are going to change from 14 days to 4 days for the remainder of this school year.

  • Prom pictures have arrived! Stop by the main office during lunch or passing time to pick yours up.

  • The LHS Musical Theater department is hosting its semester 2 show: Chicago! This Friday, May 17th at 7 PM and Saturday May 18th at 2 PM and 7 PM. Doors open half an hour before each show. Cost is $8 for general, $5 for students. Come join us for a night of Jazz, Dancing and Murder!
