Graduation is Tuesday
June 8, 2027 at 6:30 pm

  • Last day of school for seniors is Thursday, June 3, 2027.
  • Cap and Gowns will be distributed during lunch on Thursday, June 3rd.
  • Graduation is a ticketed event.  Only guests with tickets will be able to attend. Each graduate will receive their allotted amount of tickets with their cap and gown. Gates open at 5:30pm for ticketed guests. No seat saving allowed.

*The ceremony will be held outdoors…rain or shine.

* If the ceremony has to be moved indoors due to thunder & lightning, each grad will receive two (2) tickets

IMPORTANT INFORMATION LHS CLASS OF 2027

  • You will receive a lot of information from Wendy Eilers, our Office Manager and Graduation Coordinator, as the school year progresses. These updates come from ParentSquare so be sure you have the app downloaded and are checking your email/app updates. Wendy makes sure both seniors and their parent/guardian have details on all the important information on this very important last year of school.   • Senior parents and guardians, The Class of 2027 Senior All Night Party committee is looking for volunteers. If you are interested in helping out, or would just like to stay in the loop, please sign up via their app. *The Senior Grad Party is not affiliated with LCSD. We only send out informational messages to alert families of upcoming events. The event is not school sponsored.
  • First Class of 2027 Senior Meeting - Thursday, September 24 during Advisory 
    • We held our first senior meeting this morning. Attached are the senior meeting slides which includes the links for voting for senior song and motto, plus filling out the senior grad form - see link above. Remember that you have to be logged into your school gmail in order to access the forms. SeniorMeeting092420261.pdf

      At the meeting, Seniors were presented information on graduation caps and gowns, announcements, senior gear, plus a few other fun things. Jostens is the vendor we use for the caps and gowns we use for graduation. Seniors were given a packet of order information, and I told them to bring it home to their parent/guardian. If they failed to do so, we do have extras in the main office. Jostens has many packages available to order announcements, Class of 27 gear, and more. The only item that is required for seniors to order is the cap and gown package, which also includes their diploma, diploma cover, and tassel for $46. This is a mandatory package for all seniors who wish to walk at the graduation ceremony. We do not allow students to wear caps or gowns from Amazon or other vendors, or from other sources (siblings, borrowed, thrift shop, etc.).

      Jostens will be here on Thursday, October 1 during lunch, and after school from 4:30 to 6:30pm to collect order forms. Seniors were advised that orders can be paid with cash, check, credit card or money order, made out to Jostens. Jostens also allows orders with no money down if needed. It is best to place the cap and gown order now so you don't forget! They request orders are paid in full by February 1, 2026. If you have questions about ordering or payments, please speak directly with them on October 1.
  • Friday, September 25, 2026 - Last day to sign up for the SAT
  • Thursday, October 1, 2026 - Jostens orders during lunch and 4:30-6:30 pm
  • Monday, October 5, 2026 - College Knowledge Night - Financial Aid 6:30 pm
  • Saturday, October 17, 2026 - Homecoming Dance
  • Wednesday, October 21  (after school) - SAT offered for seniors who sign up. See ParentSquare notice. Deadline to sign up is Friday, September 25th.
  • Thursday, November 19, 2026 - Senior Meeting during Advisory
  • Thursday, November 24, 2026 - Senior Job Fair paperwork due
  • Wednesday, December 9, 2026 - Senior Job Fair
  • Friday, January 8, 2027 - Senior photos due to yearbook  (revised date)
  • Saturday, January 16, 2027 - Winter Formal
  • Tuesday, January 19, 2027 - Senior Meeting
  • Monday, February 8, 2027 -College Knowledge Night - Scholarships 6:30 pm
  • Thursday, February 25, 2027 - Senior Class Photo during senior meeting
  • Tuesday, March 16, 2027 - Senior Meeting
  • Saturday, May 8, 2027 - Prom
  • Monday, May 17, 2027 - Scholarship / Awards Night
  • June 1, 2027- Last day to apply for Oregon Promise 
  • Thursday, June 3, 2027 - Seniors' last day of school! Cap and gown pick up during lunch.
  • Monday, June 7, 2027 - Grad Walk through district schools
  • Tuesday, June 8, 2027 - GRADUATION DAY 
    • 7:30 am - breakfast
      8:00 am - Grad rehearsal - REQUIRED FOR ALL GRADUATES WHO WANT TO WALK AT GRADUATION
      5:45 pm - Graduates need to be back at LHS lined up and ready to go 
      6:30 pm - Graduation begins at 6:30pm, this is a ticketed event. Each graduate will receive 8 tickets.
      9:00 pm - Senior All Night Party -
